Dog's Trust
Dogs Trust scouts go into the township daily to find animals that are abused, neglected, injured or kept in substandard environments. Our aim is to remove and rehome severe cases and to better the living quarters of others by setting up running chains, improving sleeping and living conditions, providing warm beds for winter, shelter for summer as well as food, water, collars and kennels.

A New Hope Dog Rescue
A New Hope is dedicated to making sure any dogs that come into our shelter don't have a time limit on their length of stay, this means that we don't euthanize unless the dog is terminally ill or a danger to society. Any happy, healthy dog will stay with us as long as they need!

Pets
We believe that all animals deserve a 2nd or 3rd chance so we will never put an animal down due to not being able to find them a forever home. We are realistic though, and when an animals life is insufferable due to illness, injuries etc, we will give them a loving passing on.

Mandela Day
Mandela Day, officially Nelson Mandela International Day, is celebrated annually on July 18th, which is Nelson Mandela's birthday. The day was declared by the United Nations in 2009 to honor Mandela's contributions to the culture of peace and freedom. It encourages people around the world to dedicate 67 minutes of their time to make a positive impact on their communities, symbolizing the 67 years Mandela spent fighting for social justice.
